Another former participant in the British Under-15 Championship, 2012 will be Ritchings’ second full season in the National League.
After signing initial terms with Newport in 2009, he decided against being the club’s number eight and instead filled the same role with Dudley. After only a handful of appearances, he was handed a permanent team spot in 2011 and also signed to Swindon as a full asset.
2011 was a learning curve for the Wiltshire-born racer but he put in some stand-out performances, including a paid-12 points haul in a dramatic Heathens win against Hackney.
Again signed to Dudley in 2012, the 17 year old will look to move out of the reserve spots and kick on from a steady previous season.
